With its first online event, the More than four walls knowledge network has started autumn. Together, we aim to deepen the work on various focus areas and develop practical solutions for municipalities.
On September 25th, around 20 representatives from municipalities came together to discuss the topic of housing placement and transition from accommodation to housing on the municipal level. Our special thanks go to Michelle Balthes from Wohnprojekt Augsburg / Tür an Tür for her inspiring input. She provided valuable insights on how municipalities can successfully cooperate with other stakeholders in this field.
We greatly appreciate the strong commitment of the participating municipalities and their openness in sharing experiences. The discussions will continue within the working groups of the knowledge network, allowing us to engage even more deeply with the open questions.
In addition to this focus, the working groups are also addressing other key topics such as
- Hybrid accommodation for different groups of people
- Participatory self-administration by residents
- Designing flexible systems in the municipal accommodation landscape
Step by step, this creates a shared pool of knowledge and experience from which all participants can benefit.
