On July 8th 2025, the Sounding Board of the ‘More than four walls’ project met for its digital kick-off meeting. The Sounding Board is supporting the framework project and the pilot projects throughout the entire duration of the project. Its members contribute diverse expertise and the perspectives of various groups of people and stakeholders. These include the topics of communal living, anti-discrimination, and urban development as well as the perspectives of refugees and the housing industry.
The role of the Sounding Board is to (critically) support the development and implementation of the pilot projects and to help ensure that important perspectives that the project team and local authorities are unable to cover are taken into account. To this end, the members of the Sounding Board will focus on individual central topics of the project or on specific pilot projects and exchange information with the project team and the participating municipalities on an ongoing basis.
